Volunteers are needed for a People and Trees tree planting event this Saturday, Feb. 29, at Thornton Park.
The tree planting will take place 9-11 a.m. at Thornton Park, 1801 W. Segerstrom Ave.
Pre-registration is encouraged via email to PeopleAndTreesOC@gmail.com or by joining the event page.
Volunteers will plant 17 ferns and will be given guidance on how to plant the trees. Please wear comfortable outdoor work clothing, closed-toe shoes, a jacket and a hat.
