The Garden Grove police arrested two young men, both 18-years-old in connection with multiple shootings that took place in Garden Grove on Monday.
Garden Grove Police Department police officers responded to the 12500 block of Sunswept Avenue at approximately 4:02 p.m. after getting calls from multiple residents who reported hearing gunshots.
The responding police officers found several shell casings at the scene.
More gunshots were heard near the 12600 block of Keel Avenue, at about 5:52 p.m. Police officers then were able to take Daniel Garcia of Garden Grove and Isiah Emmanuel Ballejos of Anaheim, both 18, into custody as they tried to escape from the area, to no avail.
As the suspects are over 18, they can expect to be charged as adults.
