Two thieves stole a breaker from a commercial kitchen in Santa Ana resulting in a blackout

On 08/16/2023, at approximately 3:30 a.m., two unknown suspects arrived at the South Coast Takeout Cloud Kitchen, located at 2509 S. Broadway Street.

The two suspects exited a silver/gray, 2D Toyota Tacoma with black rims, and began to tamper with a locked box containing an electric breaker.

After breaking the lock, the suspects stole the breaker and fled the area in their vehicle. As a result, the entire facility lost power. The breaker is valued at $9,000.00.

As the facility is involved in food preparation the loss of power could have been very costly.
