Two suspected mail thieves arrested in north Orange County

Early this morning, police officers responded to the area of Gilbert and Castlewood after receiving reports of individuals checking mailboxes, according to the Fullerton Police Dept.

Upon arrival, officers found a vehicle with two males matching the description. Further investigation led to the discovery of stolen mail and checks in the vehicle.

Both suspects were taken to jail and booked on multiple charges, including mail fraud, conspiracy, possession of drugs, and forgery.
