Two Santa Ana area gas stations were robbed by an armed suspect last night

Two Santa Ana area gas stations were the victims of armed robberies last night. And it is possible that the same suspects were behind both of those incidents as well as another robbery at a Placentia area gas station, according to ABC.

A male suspect took an unknown quantity of cash from the Shell gas station located at the 2600 block of S. Bristol St., just before 11 p.m. He sped off in a dark-colored car.

Just fifteen minutes later another male suspect entered the USA gas station located at the 2700 block of McFadden and robbed them at gunpoint as well.

SAPD police investigators said that the M.O. of both incidents was similar and they believe the same criminal suspect is involved.

Apparently there were a string of gas station robberies that went down overnight on Sunday, in Orange County. Police authorities want to know if the same suspect is behind all of these incidents.

The latest armed robbery took place just before 1 a.m. on Monday at a Circle K that is located at the intersection of Orangethorpe Avenue and Richfield in Placentia.

However that robbery involved two suspects. And the store clerk at the Circle K felt that these robbers were local amateurs as they were startled and dropped some of the cigarettes and cash that they were trying to abscond with.

So far no description of the suspects has been released.
