Two men were shot and injured in DTSA early this morning

A shooting incident occurred early this morning in DTSA, in front of a parking structure near the intersection of West 3rd and North Sycamore streets, at around 2:39 a.m., according to County News. The shooting happened near several popular DTSA hangouts including Chapter One, Proof Bar, Lola Gaspar and the Mission Bar.

The shooting left two men injured. Both victims were treated by paramedics at the scene then taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries deemed non-life threatening.

The responding SAPD patrol officers discovered that the victims had been shot by an unidentified suspect who fled from the area on foot.

The suspect was seen running southbound on Sycamore shortly after shots rang out, according to witnesses.

The SAPD is investigating the circumstances that led up to the double shooting.
