On Friday morning, police officers proactively checked a former MCAS El Toro Hangar at the Great Park due to trespassing activity, according to the Irvine Police Department.
Officers found two people who had set up a makeshift living space. The area had a couch, TV, and what appeared to be a recording studio, complete with disco lights and a fog machine. Car batteries powered their equipment.
Among their property, officers found 11 bicycles, numerous spools of copper wire, an illegal M-800 firework, personal property from Irvine residents, two airsoft rifles, and drug paraphernalia.
Joshua Micheal Rosario, 29, of Anaheim, was booked on warrants and numerous charges, including burglary and drug possession. Patricia Lynn Ratliff, 53, from Anaheim, was arrested for warrants and trespassing.
The Irvine Police Department has previously cited or arrested the duo multiple times for trespassing at this building.
