Santa Ana Police Department – National Take Back Day
On Saturday, April 26, 2014, the Santa Ana Police Department in collaboration with the Los Angeles Field Division of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is hosting a NATIONAL TAKE BACK DAY.
NATIONAL TAKE BACK DAY will provide a unified opportunity for the public to surrender expired, unwanted, or unused pharmaceutical controlled substances and other medications to law enforcement officers for destruction.
The program provides an opportunity for law enforcement to serve as a safe collection site and we will provide educational material on prescription and over the counter drug abuse, increase awareness and provide information regarding the proper disposal of pharmaceutical drugs.
When: Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
