While Irvine police officers were conducting surveillance related to vehicle burglaries and jewelry distraction thefts, they noticed a suspicious vehicle, occupied by three males, near a bank at Culver Dr. and Irvine Blvd.
One of the male passengers exited the car and attempted to cash several fraudulent checks while inside the bank. Officers contacted the trio as they were leaving the parking lot. Numerous fraudulent debit cards, ID’s and checks were located inside their vehicle.
All three of the suspects were arrested for conspiracy and fraud related charges, earning a free ride to the O.C. Central Jail.
