This week’s Cochino List includes Taqueria La Vida and Market Novy La Mexicana

The OC Health Care Agency has released a list of the eateries (including restaurants, caterers and even school kitchens) that they inspected and shut down for the week of Sept. 21 to 28, 2018. Most of these eateries reopen pretty quickly after the health inspectors determine their issues have been resolved. Here is the list:

  • Market Novy La Mexicana, 701 E. Fourth St., Santa Ana, Closed: Sept. 24, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Sept. 25

  • Water Plus, 2424 W. Ball Road, Suite M, Anaheim, Closed: Sept. 28, Reason: Cockroach infestation
  • Cafe O’Deli, 100 Pacifica St., Suite 150, Irvine, Closed: Sept. 27, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Sept. 28
  • 7 Leaves Cafe, 13771 Newport Ave., Suite 12, Tustin, Closed: Sept. 26, Reason: Sewage overflow, Reopened: Sept. 26
  • Da Lu’au, 14151 Jeffrey Road, Irvine, Closed: Sept. 26, Reason: Plumbing in disrepair, Reopened: Sept. 26
  • Billiards Phi-Hong, 13925 Harbor Blvd., Garden Grove, Closed: Sept. 25, Reason: Insufficient hot water, Reopened: Sept. 26
  • Nutrivida, 734 N. Anaheim Blvd., Suite C, Anaheim, Closed: Sept. 25, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Sept. 26
  • Cafe at Kimberly-Clark, 2001 E. Orangethorpe Ave., Fullerton, Closed: Sept. 24, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Sept. 25
  • Naugles, 21351 Pacific Coast Highway, Huntington Beach, Closed: Sept. 22, Reason: Rodent infestation, Reopened: Sept. 25
  • La Colombiana, 1640 N. El Camino Real, Suite A, San Clemente, Closed: Sept. 21, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Sept. 24
  • Update: El Rancho Market at 1095 N. Glassell St., Orange, closed Sept. 20 because of a cockroach infestation, reopened Sept. 24
  • H.B. Liquor Liquor at 6937 Warner Ave., Huntington Beach, closed Sept. 20 because of a rodent infestation, reopened Sept. 21
  • Barbeques Galore at 13274 Jamboree Road, Irvine, closed Sept. 19 because of insufficient hot water and plumbing in disrepair, reopened Sept. 27
  • Godavari at 24416 Muirlands Blvd., Lake Forest, closed Sept. 19 because of a cockroach infestation, reopened Sept. 24
