This week’s Cochino List includes Santa Ana’s El Rey del Marisco and Donut Star

The OC Health Care Agency has released a list of the eateries (including restaurants, caterers and even school kitchens) that they inspected and shut down for the week of June 1 – June 8, 2018. Most of these eateries reopen pretty quickly after the health inspectors determine their issues have been resolved. Here is the list:

  • Donut Star, 902 W. First St., Santa Ana, Closed: June 6, Reason: Sewage overflow

  • Oasis Mediterranean Cuisine, 330 N. Brea Blvd., Suite A, Brea, Closed: June 7, Reason: Cockroach infestation
  • Azadero Mexican Grill, 10500 Magnolia Ave., Suite B, Stanton, Closed: June 7, Reason: Insufficient hot water
  • Big Grill Mongolian BBQ, 28601 Marguerite Parkway, Suite A, Mission Viejo, Closed: June 7, Reason: Rodent infestation
  • Baja Sharkeez, 211 Main St., Suite A, Huntington Beach, Closed: June 7, Reason: Cockroach infestation
  • Tandoori Express, 1981 Sunny Crest Drive, Suite 200, Fullerton, Closed: June 7, Reason: Rodent infestation
  • Tandoori Garden, 30 S. Anaheim Blvd., Anaheim, Closed: June 6, Reason: Operating without a valid health permit
  • Los Alamitos Market & Liquor, 3636 Katella Ave., Los Alamitos, Closed: June 6, Reason: Rodent infestation

  • Update: Tokyo Cafe at 161 N. Glassell St., Orange, closed May 30 because of unapproved construction and remodeling, finally reopened June 6
