This week’s Cochino List includes Pop’s Cafe, Round Table Pizza and Wursthaus

The O.C. Health Care Agency has released a list of the eateries (including restaurants, caterers and even school kitchens) that they inspected and shut down for the week of May 27 to June 4. Most of these eateries reopen pretty quickly after the health inspectors determine their issues have been resolved.

  • Wursthaus, 305 E. Fourth St., Suite 106, Santa Ana, Closed: June 2, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: June 3
  • Somboon Thai Food at Bristol Food Court, 1180 S. Bristol St., Suite 103, Santa Ana, Closed: June 2, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: June 3
  • Sushi Warriors, 8851 Garden Grove Blvd., Suite 113, Garden Grove, Closed: June 2, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: June 3
  • Update: Poke Tiki at 13771 Newport Ave., Suite 10, Tustin, which was ordered closed May 26 because of a cockroach infestation, was allowed to reopen May 27.

  • Wings ‘N Things, 18302 Beach Blvd., Huntington Beach, Closed: June 2, Reason: Rodent infestation, Reopened: June 4
  • Sergio’s Empanadas, 977 S. Coast Highway, Laguna Beach, Closed: June 2, Reason: Insufficient hot water, Reopened: June 3
  • Santa Maria BBQ, 7144 Edinger Ave., Huntington Beach, Closed: June 1, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: June 2
  • Update: Gourmet Cafe and Candy at Old World Village, 7561 Center Ave., Suite 35, Huntington Beach, which was ordered closed May 25 because of a rodent infestation, was allowed to reopen June 1.
