The O.C. Health Care Agency has released a list of the eateries (including restaurants, caterers and even school kitchens) that they inspected and shut down for the week of Nov. 6 to Nov. 13. Most of these eateries reopen pretty quickly after the health inspectors determine their issues have been resolved.

  • Pollo Ranchero, 1227 W. First St., Suite A, Santa Ana, Closed: Nov. 9, Reason: Rodent infestation
  • Update: The Filling Station at 201 N. Glassell St., Orange, which was ordered closed Nov. 2 because employee restrooms were nonfunctional, was allowed to reopen Nov. 12.
  • Del Taco, 5856 Warner Ave., Huntington Beach, Closed: Nov. 12, Reason: Cockroach infestation
  • Maki Yaki Sushi, 1490 N. Kraemer Blvd., Placentia, Closed: Nov. 10, Reason: Rodent infestation
  • Gulliver’s, 18482 MacArthur Blvd., Irvine, Closed: Nov. 10, Reason: Rodent infestation, Reopened: Nov. 11
  • Chelo’s Bakery Panaderia, 18029 Beach Blvd., Huntington Beach, Closed: Nov. 10, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Nov. 12
  • Spice Palace Hot Pot, 3967 Irvine Blvd., Irvine, Closed: Nov. 10, Reason: Cockroach infestation
  • Guckenheimer at Alcon, 15800 Alton Parkway, Irvine, Closed: Nov. 10, Reason: Rodent infestation, Reopened: Nov. 10
  • Natraj’s Tandoori, 6751 Quail Hill Parkway, Irvine, Closed: Nov. 9, Reason: Rodent infestation, Reopened: Nov. 11
  • Chunk-N-Chip Cookies, 1535 Deerpark Drive, Fullerton, Closed: Nov. 9, Reason: Rodent infestation, Reopened: Nov. 12
  • Voko Karaoke Restaurant, 14561 Red Hill Ave., Tustin, Closed: Nov. 5, Reason: Cockroach infestation
  • Update: Popeyes at 1061 N. State College Blvd., Suite D, Anaheim, which was ordered closed Nov. 4 because of a rodent infestation, was allowed to reopen Nov. 12.
  • Update: Koi at 600 Pacific Coast Highway, Seal Beach, which was ordered closed Nov. 4 because of a cockroach infestation, was allowed to reopen Nov. 6.
  • Update: Wasa Sushi On The Bluffs at 1346 Bison Ave., Newport Beach, which was ordered closed Nov. 3 because of a cockroach infestation, was allowed to reopen Nov. 7.
