The O.C. Health Care Agency has released a list of the eateries (including restaurants, caterers and even school kitchens) that they inspected and shut down for the week of July 23 to July 31. Most of these eateries reopen pretty quickly after the health inspectors determine their issues have been resolved.

  • El Toro Bravo, 562 W. 19th St., Costa Mesa, Closed: July 29, Reason: Rodent infestation, Reopened: July 29
  • Irvine Ranch Market, 2651 Irvine Ave., Costa Mesa, Closed: July 28, Reason: Rodent infestation, Reopened: July 30
  • Taqueria El Ranchito, 8142 Commonwealth Ave., Suite D, Buena Park, Closed: July 27, Reason: Fire or other disaster damage, Reopened: July 27
  • Thai Pepper, 18023 Beach Blvd., Huntington Beach, Closed: July 27, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: July 28
  • Seasalt Beachside Burger, 17851 Pacific Coast Highway, Huntington Beach, Closed: July 23, Reason: Rodent infestation, Reopened: July 24
