This week’s Cochino List includes Mariscos Zamoras and I Can Barbecue Korean Grill

The O.C. Health Care Agency has released a list of the eateries (including restaurants, caterers and even school kitchens) that they inspected and shut down for the week of June 18 to June 26. Most of these eateries reopen pretty quickly after the health inspectors determine their issues have been resolved.

  • Mariscos Zamoras, 3701 W. McFadden Ave., Suite H, Santa Ana, Closed: June 24, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: June 25
  • I Can Barbecue Korean Grill, 414 W. 4th St., Santa Ana, Closed: June 24, Reason: Rodent infestation, Reopened: June 25
  • Taqueria Sabroso y Picoso at 711 N. Bristol St., Santa Ana, which was ordered closed June 17 because of a rodent infestation, was allowed to reopen June 18.
  • The Den Cafe, 2930 Bristol St., Suite B-102, Costa Mesa, Closed: June 25, Reason: Cockroach infestation
  • Kensho, 9550 Bolsa Ave., Suite 125 , Westminster, Closed: June 24, Reason: Insufficient hot water, Reopened: June 25
  • Little Caesars, 13047 Chapman Ave., Orange, Closed: June 24, Reason: Insufficient hot water, Reopened: June 24
  • Walmart Neighborhood Market, 121 N Beach Blvd., Anaheim, Permit downgraded to prepackaged food only: June 22, Reason: Insufficient hot water/plumbing in disrepair
  • Newport Donuts, 2228 Newport Blvd., Suite E, Costa Mesa, Closed: June 18, Reason: Rodent infestation, Reopened: June 19
