This week’s Cochino List includes Mariscos Hector Nightclub and El Torito Drive-In Deli

The O.C. Health Care Agency has released a list of the eateries (including restaurants, caterers and even school kitchens) that they inspected and shut down for the week of Feb. 27 to March 6. Most of these eateries reopen pretty quickly after the health inspectors determine their issues have been resolved.

  • El Torito Drive-In Deli, 1116 S. Standard Ave., Santa Ana, Closed: March 3, Reason: Rodent infestation, Reopened: March 4
  • Family Nutrition, 2835 S. Bristol St., Suite C, Santa Ana, Closed: March 3, Reason: Sewage overflow, Reopened: March 3
  • Update: Hacienda Arzate at 1502 E. First St., Santa Ana, which was ordered closed Feb. 27 because of a rodent infestation, was allowed to reopen Feb. 28.
  • Update: Hopper and Burr at 202 W. Fourth St., Santa Ana, which was ordered closed Feb. 26 because of a cockroach infestation, was allowed to reopen Feb. 28.
  • Cafe Casse Croute, 656 S. Brookhurst St., Anaheim, Closed: March 5, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: March 5
  • Vendome Liquors, 3115 Yorba Linda Blvd., Fullerton, Closed: March 4, Reason: Rodent infestation, Reopened: March 4
  • Fountain Valley Skating Center, 9105 Recreation Circle, Fountain Valley, Closed: March 4, Reason: Rodent infestation, Reopened: March 4
  • Main kitchen at Hilton, 3050 Bristol St., Costa Mesa, Closed: March 3, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: March 3
  • Banquet kitchen at Hilton, 3050 Bristol St., Costa Mesa, Closed: March 3, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: March 3
  • Lobby bar and Starbucks at Hilton, 3050 Bristol St., Costa Mesa, Closed: March 3, Reason: Rodent infestation, Reopened: March 3
  • 101 Noodle Express, 5408 Walnut Ave., Suite A, Irvine, Closed: Feb. 28, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Feb. 29
  • El Toro Bravo, 745 W. 19th St., Costa Mesa. Closed: Feb. 28, Reason: Sewage overflow, Reopened: Feb. 28
  • Nguyen’s Kitchen at 488 E. 17th St., Suite B-102, Costa Mesa, which was ordered closed Feb. 26 because of a cockroach infestation, was allowed to reopen Feb. 28.
