The O.C. Health Care Agency has released a list of the eateries (including restaurants, caterers and even school kitchens) that they inspected and shut down for the week of  Oct. 15 to Oct. 23. Most of these eateries reopen pretty quickly after the health inspectors determine their issues have been resolved.

  • THH Lo Banh Cuon, 5015 W. Edinger Ave., Suite G, Santa Ana, Closed: Oct. 21, Reason: Sewage overflow, Reopened: Oct. 21
  • Costa Azul at 2401 S. Fairview St., Santa Ana, which was ordered closed Oct. 13 because of a cockroach infestation, was allowed to reopen Oct. 17.
  • Great Mex Grill, 2360 Newport Blvd., Suite A, Costa Mesa, Closed: Oct. 21, Reason: Rodent infestation, Reopened: Oct. 23
  • Napa Valley Pizza & Pasta, 2278 Newport Blvd., Costa Mesa, Closed: Oct. 20, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Oct. 21
  • Phuoc Loc Tho Herbals at Asian Garden Mall, 9200 Bolsa Ave., Suite 114-A, Westminster, Closed: Oct. 20, Reason: Rodent infestation, Reopened: Oct. 21
  • Fullerton Brew Co., 305 N. Harbor Blvd., Suite 128, Fullerton, Closed: Oct. 22, Reason: Cockroach infestation
  • Habachihana Grill, 2561 W. Ball Road, Anaheim, Closed: Oct. 21, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Oct. 22
  • Misoya Rockin’ Sushi, 8893 Garden Grove Blvd., Garden Grove, Closed: Oct. 21, Reason: Rodent infestation
  • Rockin’ Baja Lobster, 2104 W. Oceanfront, Newport Beach, Closed: Oct. 21, Reason: Fire suppression discharge in facility, Reopened: Oct. 22
  • The Chicken Coop, 414 N. Newport Blvd., Newport Beach, Closed: Oct. 21, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Oct. 22
  • Bagels Tea, 16566 Bolsa Chica St., Huntington Beach, Closed: Oct. 20, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Oct. 21
  • Pho Seven, 12505 Beach Blvd., Suite A-6, Stanton, Closed: Oct. 19, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Oct. 21
  • Social, 21214 Beach Blvd., Huntington Beach, Closed: Oct. 15, Reason: Rodent infestation, Reopened: Oct. 16
  • Update: Happy Dragon at 516 N. Euclid St., Anaheim, which was ordered closed Oct. 15 because of a cockroach infestation, was allowed to reopen Oct. 17.
  • Update: IHOP at 131 N. Kraemer Blvd., Placentia, which was ordered closed Oct. 15 because of a rodent infestation, was allowed to reopen Oct. 15.
