Three male suspects were arrested after police detectives served a search warrant at a hotel in Irvine, according to the Tustin Police Department.
The suspects committed several burglaries of parked vehicles, fraudulently using victim’s credit cards, and were also working to counterfeit currency. They were tracked down by police investigators the day after these crimes were reported.
The police officers recovered the victims’ stolen property, drugs, burglary tools, counterfeit currency and related manufacturing tools. One of the suspects was wearing Nike Air Max midsoles in security footage, which later helped the police investigators to identify him.
The suspects were arrested on charges related to fraud, forgery, burglary, identity theft, conspiracy, misuse of access cards, and other offenses.
The Tustin police thanked their counterparts at the Irvine Police Department and the community for helping to identify and nab these suspects.
