The SAPD seized two pistols and over 300 rounds of ammo from gang suspects

SAPD MET Detectives conducted a traffic stop in the area of the 300 Block of N. Newhope Street.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as a gang member on active parole and in possession of approximately 300 rounds of ammunition as well as narcotics for sales.

SAPD MET detectives conducted a follow-up investigation, which lead them to the City of Anaheim where they recovered an unloaded firearm.

The suspect was charged with possession of the firearm in addition to the ammunition and sales of narcotic
