The SAPD is trying to find the men who robbed Café La Me

Advisory: SAPD Robbery Detectives request assistance in identifying suspects or information reference this crime

On 05/25/14, at 8:57 AM, suspect #1 and #2 entered the Café La Me after arriving in the suspect vehicle.  Suspect #1 brandished a semi-automatic handgun and pistol-whipped an employee before taking undetermined amount of money from the cash register. Suspect #2, the driver of the suspect vehicle, entered carrying zip-ties and proceeded to zip-tie and pat down several patrons. The suspects fled eastbound from the Café in the suspect vehicle.

Location: Cafe La Me, 5407 W. 1st Street

Suspect #1: Male, unknown race, 30-40 yrs., 5’8″-6″ tall, thin build, wearing black hooded sweatshirt, gray bandanna over face, black/gray gloves, blue jeans, blue over white sneakers.

Suspect #2: Male, unknown race, 5’8”-6” tall, stocky build, wearing black hooded sweatshirt with white liner, blue bandanna over face, white gloves, gray shirt, blue jeans, brown shoes.

Suspect Vehicle: Dark green or gray, 1997-2003 Toyota Sienna, missing hubcaps and front plate.
