On 9/18/23, an elderly and disabled victim was walking through the parking lot of 1400 W. Edinger Ave. when he was confronted by a suspect who was panhandling.
After the victim declined and walked away, the suspect followed him and forcefully pushed a shopping cart from behind, and took the victim’s belongings before running away.
The victim fell and was later transported to the hospital to treat his injuries.
Suspect description: Male, white, 25-35 years old, approximately 5’9” tall, 185 lbs., with a tattoo on his outer, left forearm, and wearing a black shirt, black pants, and white shoes.
