The SAPD is looking for a transient who failed to register as a sex offender

Santa Ana Police Special Crimes Detectives are currently looking for assistance in locating Manuel Nava for failing to register as a sex offender. Additionally, Nava has a no bail warrant for failing to report to State parole.

Wanted Suspect: Manuel Nava (24) Transient

Suspect Description: Male, Hispanic, 6’3”, 141 lbs., Black Hair and Brown Eyes

Santa Ana man accused of molestation facing new charges of harassing a cheerleader

Manuel Nava, a 21-year-old man already facing charges on suspicion of molesting three children was charged Friday with suspicion of harassing a 17-year-old cheerleader at Century High School in Santa Ana, according to the O.C. Register.

The OCDA is prosecuting Nava for allegedly molesting two boys and a girl. One of the boys was 6-years-old and the other was 11. The girl was 14 when she was allegedly attacked by Nava.

The cheerleader complained to a teacher about Nava’s harassment. He was apparently obessed with one of the underage cheerleaders. He was accused of stalking her on campus, according to the SAPD.

Nava was charged Friday 11 misdemeanors, including disobeying a court order, disturbing school activities, resisting arrest, remaining on campus without permission, and failing to leave campus when instructed to do so, according to court records, according to Mynewsla.
