On Thursday, July 25, 2024, at approximately 6:04 a.m., police officers responded to a traffic collision at the intersection of Bristol Street and Hemlock Way involving a vehicle and a motorcycle, according to the SAPD.
Despite lifesaving measures by a civilian who administered CPR and Orange County Fire Authority first responders, the motorcyclist, a male adult, was pronounced deceased at a local hospital.
Based on the preliminary investigation, the motorcycle was traveling northbound on Bristol St. when it collided with the vehicle making a left turn onto Hemlock Way.
The male driver of the vehicle stopped and cooperated with police investigation. At this time, alcohol or drugs do not appear to be a factor in the collision.
The Santa Ana Police Department’s Collision Investigations Unit (CIU) is investigating this incident.
