The SAPD arrested two gangbangers and seized the gun in their car

It has been said that criminals are not too bright. Santa Ana’s gangbangers prove that every day!

In the latest such incident SAPD gang detectives contacted two men who were standing outside a vehicle near the area of 2000 S. Baker St.

As the police detectives spoke with the suspects one of them actually admitted that he had a firearm in his vehicle! Guess how that turned out?

The detectives seized the weapon and the suspects were both arrested and booked at the Santa Ana Jail.

But wait, there’s more! SAPD patrol officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop at Santiago Park.

During the police investigation the officers found that the driver was in possession of a rifle and narcotics. who brings guns and drugs to the park???

The driver was subsequently arrested and booked at the Santa Ana Jail.

In another incident SAPD police officers responded to a domestic violence investigation call. Those are the scariest incidents for officers to respond to as the suspects are often armed and on drugs or drunk.

In this case while the officers were detaining the suspect, a man who was involved in an altercation, they suspected he might be under the influence of narcotics.

The savvy officers conducted a record check and found out that the suspect was on probation and because of that he was suspect to search and seizure, which means the officers did not have to obtain a search warrant.

The officers searched the suspect’s vehicle and found and seized a loaded gun and of course narcotics.

The suspect was then arrested and booked at the Santa Ana Jail.
