The SAPD arrested an armed gangbanger who was on probation

There is a lot of demand for more gun regulations but the reality is that criminals don’t give a damn about the law. You can pass as many anti-gun laws as you want but the bad guys will keep doing whatever they want to, until they get caught.

As such, the SAPD focuses a lot of their attention on getting guns off the street, which we should all appreciate.

Recently SAPD gang detectives contacted a documented gangbanger who was on probation.

Now you would think that a criminal on probation might want to straighten up and avoid further legal problems. Well, that did not happen in this case.

During the investigation a probation search was conducted at the suspect’s residence. The detectives located a loaded AR pistol and a dissasembled “ghost gun.”

Ghost Guns are unserialized (and therefore untraceable) firearms that are put together by components purchased either as a kit or as separate pieces. These firearms are fully functioning guns that are as lethal as a fully finished, serialized firearm, according to Brady United.

In another recent case SAPD gang detectives authored and served a search warrant at a residence as a result of a firearm investigation.

During the service of the warrant two men were detained near the residence in question and as it so happened both were armed with loaded weapons. Talk about bad timing!

The SAPD detectives located two additional firearms and two shotguns inside the residence.

Both of the suspects ended up getting arrested for numerous firearm-related charges.

Bravo! A voice of reason. But stricter gun control is a popular rallying cry used by designing politicians to appeal to well-intended voters. Arrest the thugs, and vote out the morons! That’s the real solution
