Santa Ana Public Library’s Annual Summer Reading Program: Reading Takes You Everywhere

The award-winning Santa Ana Public Library promotes literacy and provides a safe gathering place for families all year long. The Santa Ana Public Library is proud to present the annual Summer Reading Program, an exciting, literacy-based program for children, teens, and adults.

This year’s theme is “Reading Takes You Everywhere” a creative way to use the spirit of reading to show that literacy has no limits and can transport you to any location through the journey of reading! The Summer Reading Program is an excellent way to promote reading and continuous development for people of all ages. For children and teens, participation in a vacation reading program strengthens their reading skills. Adult participation serves as a positive example in promoting the importance of reading to children and family members and fosters their own lifelong learning. Summer Reading Program Participants may win prizes as a symbol of appreciation for reading.

The 2018 Summer Reading Program “Reading Takes You Everywhere” will run from June 11, 2018 through July 28, 2018. Sign up at any of the Library’s Information Desk(s). The last day for registration is Saturday, July 21, 2018.

Programa Anual de Lectura de la Biblioteca Pública de Santa Ana: La Lectura Te Lleva a Todas Partes

SANTA ANA, CA – La reconocida Biblioteca Pública de Santa Ana se enorgullece en ser un centro educativo y recreativo en la comunidad creando oportunidades de aprendizaje en un ambiente sano. Nuevamente, la Biblioteca Pública de Santa Ana ofrecerá su programa de Lectura de Verano, un programa literario para niños, adolescentes y adultos.

¡El tema de este año, “La Lectura Te Lleva a Todas Partes”, resalta el espíritu creativo de la lectura! Un espíritu sin límites en el cual viajas a cualquier parte por medio de la lectura. La participación en los programas de lectura es una gran manera para que personas de todas las edades desarrollen el amor hacia la lectura y educación. Para los niños y jóvenes, ser parte de en un programa de lectura durante sus vacaciones fortalece mejoramiento en la lectura. Para los adultos, el programa de lectura es una oportunidad de mostrarle a los niños y miembros de su familia la importancia de la lectura y es una forma de fomentar interés en la educación de por vida. Los participantes tendrán la oportunidad de ganar premios para agradecer su aprecio de la lectura.

El Programa de Lectura 2018 “La Lectura Te Lleva a Todas Partes” se llevará a cabo del 11 de junio del 2018 hasta el 28 de julio del 2018. Regístrese en el Escritorio de Información de la Biblioteca. El último día de inscripción es el sábado, 21 de julio del 2018.
