The Santa Ana City Council is regretfully reconsidering our jail’s ICE contract

As we predicted the Santa Ana City Council is having a conniption after President Donald Trump ordered ICE to prematurely cancel their contract with the Santa Ana Jail. This went down after our lame City Council decided to vote to become a Sanctuary City and announced they were going to curtail the ICE contract in a few years.

Trump’s move to cancel the ICE contract in 90 days left the city in the lurch to the tune of $3 million dollars in annual jail-related debt payments.

Now the Santa Ana City Council is actually considering unwinding what they did. Councilman Jose Solorio on Friday placed an item on Tuesday’s Council agenda for “discussion and possible action(s) as they relate to the city’s contract with immigration and customs enforcement (ICE),” according to the O.C. Register.

The left-wing activists who pushed to cancel the ICE contract stupidly forgot to think about what would happen to those who had been held at the Santa Ana jail. Cancelling the ICE contract ended up meaning that the transsexual immigrants the activists were concerned about were going to be relocated to facilities in Adelanto in San Bernardino County or to Texas. And we know that the folks in the Inland Empire and in Texas would just be so nice to those detainees…

At this point it is clear that our City Council needs to stop with their stupid grandstanding and reverse both their own early cancellation of the ICE contract and vote down the Sanctuary City designation they never should have adopted in the first place.

Why is our City Council allowing a handful of rabid people who in most cases don’t even live here to establish our political agenda? The people of Santa Ana voted for this City Council to attend to LOCAL matters and number one on that list should be fighting crime – in particular our awful gangs. Only ONE Councilman has steadfastly voted against the ridiculous ideas espoused by the far left – that is Councilman Juan Villegas. He ought to get a medal for being the only reasonable member of our City Council.

  • GOOD! I EMAIL THE CLOWNS AND TOLD THEM THAT THEY C ARE STUPID......

NO THE CITY IS IN THE HOLE. NOW WHAT! I HAVE A TAX FOR THE PENDEJOS.....

  • I love the fact the SA city council thinks they're that important. Sadly, the voters are to blame for this. Instead of actually demanding accountability at the poll, they continue to support buffoons and clowns with pompadours. I seriously doubt Frump will reconsider the ICE contract withdrawal. Then, mthey're city will be looking for another handout by way of taxation. Maybe they can tax the food vendors.....oh, wait.....

  • The s**t is going to hit the fan at the Council meeting tonight. Fun TV to watch - you wouldn't want to be there.
