The MainPlace Mall is hosting a free Earth Day event with giveaways and youth activities

To officially recognize the importance of Earth Day, the MainPlace Mall, a three-story super-regional shopping center in Santa Ana, California, will host an Earth Day-themed event on Saturday, April 22nd, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the shopping center’s Center Court.

Throughout this family-friendly, educational event, there will be a colorful selfie backdrop showcasing recyclable cans, plastic, cardboard, straws/bottle caps, and bubble wrap to remind people of the many ways recycling can help preserve the beauty of our planet. Children will enjoy a special terrarium-building kids craft as well as receiving a free take-home plantable earth seed ball (each while supplies last).

The MainPlace Earth Day event is free of charge and open to the public; no pre-registration is required. Additionally, MyPerks loyalty program members can compete for one of several retailer gift cards by playing bingo in the MyPerks Lounge during the event. While visiting the MyPerks Lounge, MyPerks members can also pick up a reusable tote bag and planter kit.

Not a MyPerks member? No problem. Joining the program is free and easy; for details, visit the MainPlace MyPerks page on the center’s website here: https://www.shopmainplacemall.com/profile. To learn more, visit https://www.shopmainplacemall.com/events/.
