The Green Parrot Villa is reopening, with a Mother’s Day special

Good food news to report – Santa Ana’s Green Parrot Villa is opening for lunch and dinner after several years of being used strictly as a banquet facility.  They are having a little pre-opening preview party today, May 5, from 3 pm to 5 pm, with free samples of their delicious food.

The Green Parrot Villa is located at 2035 N. Main St., across from the Bowers Museum.  There is a large free public parking lot just north of them, on the east side of Main St., just south of the 5 Freeway.  They plan to be open Monday through Thursday with a Buffet Lunch from 11 am to 2 pm.  They will also offer a Happy Hour daily from 4 pm to 8 pm, with Dinner service as well.

The Green Parrot Villa’s chef is the inimitable Sammy Montoya, who also owns and manages La Chiquita, in the historic Logan Barrio, also in Santa Ana.

The official grand opening of the Green Parrot Villa is set for Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 12.  They will offer a Champagne Sunday Brunch from 10 am to 2 pm.

Set in a Spanish style romantic venue The Green Parrot Villa garden interior showcases a twelve foot fountain with hand painted tile, palm trees, birds of paradise, and various plants and ferns adorned with twinkle lights. The Courtyard can accommodate up to 200 guests for dining.

Other features of the Green Parrot Villa include:
