DISCOVERY CUBE INVITES CHILDREN ON AN ADVENTUROUS VOYAGE AS PART OF THE DORA & DIEGO – LET’S EXPLORE! EXHIBIT ON FEBRUARY 6

Dora & Diego – Let’s Explore! Exhibit to Feature Hands-On Activities and Interactive Games for an Enjoyable and Educational Learning Experience February 6 to May 15

Nonprofit Discovery Cube welcomes the bilingual exhibit Dora & Diego – Let’s Explore! based on the Nickelodeon television series Dora the Explorer and Go, Diego, Go! Families and schools are invited to join Dora, her cousin Diego and their many friends on a great voyage. Children will help Dora and Diego on their active adventure and learn to role-play, solve problems, practice sharing and caring behaviors, and learn Spanish words.

These thrilling explorations help kids see what a day in the life of Dora the Explorer is all about. The exhibit includes opportunities to engage and teach children about the many different elements of the earth, including flowers, plants, animals and the atmosphere. Discovery Cube ultimately hopes to teach children more about the world we live in.

Interactive exhibit areas include:

  • The Purple Planet – Climb inside and slide down on the surface of The Purple Planet.
  • Rocket Ship – Put on a spacesuit, pilot the ship, and test their memory with images of colorful planets.
  • Constellations – Help identify the patterns made out of stars by inserting star shapes to light up a constellation.
  • Isa’s Flowery Garden – Pick flowers, interact with birds, butterflies, insect puppets, and pretend-fly with toddler-sized bird and butterfly wings. Enjoy smelling the flowery scents and picking soft-fabric posies.
  • Tico’s Tree and Car – Play along with Swiper to swipe the nuts and watch as they shoot up and over to fill Tico’s basket.
  • Pirate Ship – Dress like a pirate to pretend-play along sailing the ship and divvying up the treasure.
  • Animal Rescue Center – Care for rainforest animals by diagnosing and addressing an animal’s problem from the “Scanner” bed, bandaging and applying cold packs at the “First-Aid Station,” and bathing stuffed animals at the “Care Station.”
  • Rainforest Maze – Explore the rainforest and locate animals by swinging across the Bobo Brothers’ monkey bars, crawling through a fallen tree, climbing across Jaguar Mountain, and hopping across the River Rocks.
