Early this morning, just after 5:00 am, three vehicles arrived at a gun shop at 358 S. Tustin Street.
One vehicle, a silver Kia, was used to ram the front entry security gates. Multiple males entered the business and smashed display cases. The suspects fled the location with numerous handguns and rifles.
Orange police detectives are collaborating with ATF for this ongoing investigation. Anyone with information can contact Det. George at 714-744-7519.
The Folwer Gun Room was the store that was targeted by the robbers.
Sam Fowler, the founder of the Folwer Gun Room, was always passionate for collecting firearms. It started as a hobby then spilled over into retail sales quickly soon after. Starting small in the back of his house in Orange, he collected Winchester lever guns and civil war memorabilia. He soon became one of the renowned collectors of both. His appetite for history and firearms then went to WWII. Once again, having one of the foremost collections of firearms, uniforms, daggers and memorabilia in California. The love for firearms is still present in two of the largest gun stores in California today.
