Thursday afternoon, a police detective spotted a vehicle possibly involved in recent theft and fraud cases, according to the Irvine Police Department.
After a vehicle code violation was observed, officers stopped the car. The driver’s style was a cut above the rest. During a search of the man’s car, officers found $10,000 in cash, multiple identification cards, and credit cards.
Police detectives stitched all the pieces together and determined he made a fraudulent bank withdrawal just before being stopped.
