Several armed Santa Ana gangbangers arrested

Gang detectives authored and executed a search warrant in the City of Garden Grove regarding a firearm investigation, according to the SAPD.

During a search of the residence, a loaded “ghost gun” with a “switch,” am AR-15 style rifle, ammunication in various calibers and narcotics were located.

An adult male who is a documented gangbanger was arrested and booked at the Santa Ana City Jail for firearm and narcotics violations with gang enforcements.

SAPD Directed Enforcement officers were conducting proactive enforcment in the area of E. First St. when they initiated a traffic stop on a suspect vehicle.

When the officers attempted to make contact with the vehicle’s occupants, one of the passengers took off on foot. He was however immediately detained. The suspect turned out to be a gangbanger and he was on parole. He was in possession of two firearms and high-capacity ammo magazines.

The suspect was booked at the Santa Ana City Jail on firearm-related charges.

Police officers responded to reports of shots fired and gangbangers loitering in an alleyway.

Upon arrival, several of the suspects fled on foot but they were ultimately detained by the officers.

One of the suspects turned out to be in possession of a loaded firearm and an expended cartridge case was located at the scene. He was booked into Juvenile Hall on several felony violations.
