Follow the money. Sergio is beholden to the developer.

Ryan Ogulnick is the main developer of 2525 Main, LLC. In 2020, Ogulnick unsuccessfully sued to block a referendum drive by neighbors concerned about the poorly-designed project.

In December 2019, Santa Ana Councilman Juan Villegas, a law enforcement officer, publicly alleged that “a key person behind the controversial 2525 N. Main St. project admitted to him their involvement in the dark money campaign – which involved hiding $320,000 in campaign money through a shell company… The 2525 project was put forward by developer Ryan Ogulnick and his company Vineyards Development Corp.”

FACT: Sergio Contreras has accepted $6,300 from companies tied to 2525 Main Street developer.

Multiple companies affiliated with developer Ryan Ogulnick have contributed to Sergio Contreras’ supervisorial campaign.

RHW Holdings, LLC has contributed $2,100 to Sergio Contreras for Supervisor 2020. A series of shell companies lead back to Ryan Ogulnick.

Ryan Ogulnick is the manager of RHW Holdings Manager, LLC, according to the California Secretary of State’s business records.

RHW Holdings Manager, LLC is a manager of RHW INVESTORS, LLC, which is a manager of RHW Holdings, LLC.

FACT: Sergio Contreras is misleading voters with false attacks. State watchdog has closed its investigation into Supervisor Andrew Do.

Sergio Contreras has engaged in dirty political attacks and false smears in his campaign to unseat Orange County Supervisor Andrew Do.  The last-minute smears continue to use false headlines to mislead voters about Andrew Do’s record.

The facts are clear: Supervisor Andrew Do has followed the rules. On October 23, 2020, according to the Orange County Register, the California Fair Political Practices Commission closed an investigation into Supervisor Andrew Do and took no action regarding false allegations made by Sergio Contreras.

  • The only reason they don’t want 2525 it’s because of parking. The people living there will be forced to park all over that area. You think rich folks want randoms parking in front of their homes ?? Ofcourse not. Be real with the people. That’s why it’s “ controversial “ if this building was being made in raitt and McFadden let’s say. Those people would not be trying to stop the development.

      • In my own humble non bias opinion. What else is controversial about building there? The residents there clearly don’t want more people around. Santa Ana has a serious parking problem.
