Senator Correa to host a car seat safety awareness event

SENATOR CORREA TO HOST A CAR SEAT SAFETY AWARENESS EVENT

January 07, 2014

Santa Ana, CA – State Senator Lou Correa in partnership with the California Highway Patrol, the Orange County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and the Orange County National Latino Peace Officers Association invite the community to attend a “Car Seat Safety Awareness Event.”

“As a father, the safety of our children is a top priority for me,” said Senator Lou Correa. “Statistics show that 8 out of 10 Child Car Seats are not installed properly, which put our children at risk. This event is about the safety of our children, and educating our families about the importance of using Car Seats while driving.”

The event will provide updates on children’s safety and information on public safety. The California Highway Patrol will educate parents on properly installing car seats by conducting car seat safety checks, so our children are safe on the road.

The event will take place on:

Saturday, January 25, 2014

9:00 am – 1:00 pm

Rancho Santiago Community College District Building

Parking Lot

2323 North Broadway
