• Art, and Admin, I appreciate you guys defending the latino/hispanic community and myself, but there is no use in continuing an argument with an ignorant fool. You are lowering yourselves down to his level and being childish as he is. Mr. Fiala is full of hate and anger for some reason, and rather than seeking the help of a professional he sits behind a computer screen and keyboard to make personal attacks. Let be the mature ones and just ignore his remarks.

  • You know Jonathan I always try to use humor when dealing with folks like Stanley. But he really can't let go of his issues with our people and that is a very sad thing. I have met his wife and she is a lovely lady. In fact Stanley has told me that her brothers have come up from Mexico to visit and they get along just swell.

    Stanley went through a lot of traumatic experiences back in his homeland. Perhaps that accounts for some of this angst. But it does not excuse his hateful comments.

    What can we do but pray for him?

  Admin, you moderate all comments. This would be a good time to exercise that authority on this thread. There's a point at which 1st Amendment rights no longer apply when all they serve to do is promote hate speech from a single source.

  I understand your suggestion of staying above the level of those like Fiala. Ignorant, foolish and hateful individuals have historically been responsible for racism,and intolerance . If ignored they are given the opportunity to insight hate towards others.

  Many civil rights fighters lost their lives fighting hate and intolerance. In fact their efforts are the reason blacks,Mexican - Americans, women and others of color have the chance you have of an education. In fact it is the reason you now can attend Georgetown University.

  I will confront Fiala and those like him every time they show their ugly face.
