SAPD seeks public help in identifying suspect who robbed Don Roberto’s Jewelry

Santa Ana Police Department Advisory: Detectives request media and publics assistance in identifying suspect in Robbery of jewelry store

SYNOPSIS: On 12/3/13 at about 1:20 PM, the above listed suspect entered the Don Roberto’s Jewelry store and contacted a sales person under the pretense of purchasing a ring. As the sales person was showing the suspect various rings, the suspect produced a black semi-auto handgun from his waistband. The suspect ordered the sales clerk back and removed several rings from the display. The suspect then exited the business and fled eastbound on 17th St. LOCATION: Don Roberto’s Jewelry (1619 W. 17th St.)

 

SUSPECT: Male, Hispanic, 20-25 yrs., 5’5”-5’8”, 130-150 lbs., med. complexion, dark hair. Wearing a black baseball cap with white bill and white lettering on front, blue long sleeve button up shirt, blue jeans, white & black tennis shoes.

TATTOOS: Unknown wording tattoo on back of neck, 3 dots Left hand web, Unknown letter on Right middle finger, Unknown letter Right ring finger.
