Santa Ana’s LULAC chapter is conducting a Tardeada for their Community Scholars event this Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at 1939 E. Fruit Street, Santa Ana, CA.
The event will cost $20 per person which includes great food, soft beverages, and music. All proceeds will go towards the LULAC Scholarship Fund for Santa Ana students pursuing post-secondary education studies. Opportunity drawings will be available as well as beer and wine.
Tardeada means “To go partying early in the afternoon. Used mostly by Americans of Mexican decent,” according to the Urban Dictionary.
LULAC is the largest and oldest Hispanic organization in the United States. LULAC advances the economic condition, educational attainment, political influence, housing, health and civil rights of Hispanic Americans through community-based programs operating at more than 1,000 LULAC councils nationwide. The organization involves and serves all Hispanic nationality groups.
