Santa Ana’s City Hall has reopened to the public

Santa Ana City Hall reopened to the public on June 1, 2020.

The building was closed in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but is now open in a limited capacity with additional safety measures and guidelines.

Customers will be required to make appointments to visit Santa Ana public counters for a majority of services, including Planning and Building Agency services, parking permits, business licenses, dog licenses, and utility services. The City of Santa Ana has implemented an appointment system to comply with social distancing and CDC requirements to limit the number and proximity of people at the City’s public counters.

The QMatic customer flow management system will allow customers to make appointments at their own convenience from their computer or mobile device. Entry for appointment check-in is at the south entrance of City Hall/Ross Annex only.

Cashier/bill payment services will be available for walk-ins on a first-come, first-served basis. Entry for this process is at the front door of City Hall only.

Individuals visiting City Hall are expected to observe the following guidelines:

• If you are positive for COVID-19 or feel you have been exposed to the virus, please do not enter the building and reschedule your appointment.
• All customers entering City Hall must submit to a temperature check via a non-contact thermometer. If your temperature is above 100.4 degrees, you will not be allowed to enter the facility.
• All customers entering City Hall must wear a face covering at all times while in the building.
• All customers inside City Hall or in line outside must maintain proper distance from others at all times.
• Restrooms are temporarily closed to the public.

If you aren’t able to make an appointment online, call the appointment phone line at (714) 647-5491.
