Santa Ana’s Cinco de Mayo festival set for May 4 and 5

The City of Santa Ana & MX LIVE Entertainment invite you to come and celebrate “Calle Cua­tro’s” 14th Annual Cinco de Mayo in His­toric Down­town Santa Ana, on Sat­ur­day, May 4th and Sun­day, May 5th, from 12​ noon to 10:00 PM daily.

Santa Ana’s Calle Cua­tro cel­e­brates Cinco de Mayo by cre­at­ing the biggest and most antic­i­pated His­panic fes­ti­val in South­ern Cal­i­for­nia! Calle Cuatro’s Cinco de Mayo has about 275,000 attendees! It fea­tures great food, car­ni­val rides and games, Latin Grammy and Bill­board artist per­for­mances, com­mu­nity enter­tain­ment and more.

Join us to com­mem­o­rate the Mex­i­can army’s unlikely vic­tory against French forces at the Bat­tle of Puebla.​

    We have Little league and Confirmation this weekend......different kind of celebrations!

    Although one of the best parties I EVER ATTENDED was in your neighborhood, when Cinco de Mayo fell on the first Saturday of May.

    Of course to many that is Sacred, because it is DERBY DAY! The party was half margarita's and Patron shot's, half mint jubilee's and whiskey.

    They had a betting table and a local school teacher was on hand to teach odds making to grown-up and youngsters alike!

    The kids were betting jelly beans and Barbie shoe's.

    The outfit's OUTRAGEOUS! Good times for sure.

    BTW, it appears the city is on the way to recovery, Michele Martinez is advertising the City Managers job on her FACEBOOK PAGE:
