Santa Ana trash pick-up rate increase meeting set for April 30

City of Santa Ana businesses and residents are invited to a community presentation by the City’s Public Works Agency to review the upcoming refuse cart rate adjustments. Your participation is welcome at the meeting to learn about the California mandates, services, and the adjustments. To ensure the community’s understanding of the changes, the Public Works Agency will host live meeting sessions on Thursday, April 30, 2020, at 7 p.m. to answer questions and address comments.

By allowing the rate adjustment for this service change, the City will be able to remain in compliance with State mandates for waste disposal and recycling and avoid potential enforcement actions, such as fines. The typical Santa Ana customer will continue to pay a similar amount, on average, for curbside cart service as compared to its neighboring cities, such as Garden Grove, Brea, Fullerton and Yorba Linda.

You can participate through any of the following virtual meeting options:

1) Watch the meeting on YouTube at www.youtube.com/CityofSantaAnaVideos
