Santa Ana Summer Youth Job Fair set for April 29

Community: 22nd Annual Summer Youth Job Fair Next Saturday, April 29th / 22ª Feria Anual de Empleo Juvenil de Verano

SANTA ANA – The State of California Employment Development Department (EDD), in collaboration with the City of Santa Ana and the Orange County Employer Advisory Council, will be hosting the 22nd annual Summer Youth Job Fair. Youth job seekers between the ages of 15 to 25 can connect with employers at the Job Fair on Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 9:00am to 12:30pm at the Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center (SARTC).

Job seekers are encouraged to dress in business attire, bring copies of their résumé, and have the necessary information to complete job applications, including valid picture identification and social security card. There is no cost for job seekers or businesses to participate. For more information and to register for this event, please visit https://syjf2017er.eventbrite.com.

Over 35 businesses are expected to participate in the job fair, including Great Wolf Lodge, Knott’s Berry Farm, Smart & Final, SODEXO Magic, The Westin South Coast Plaza and Surf and Sand Resort.

The event is sponsored by the State Employment Development Department, the City of Santa Ana, America’s Job Centers of California and the Orange County Employer Advisory Council.

22ª Feria Anual de Empleo Juvenil de Verano el Próximo sábado, 29 de abril

El Departamento de Desarrollo de Empleo del Estado de California (EDD), en colaboración con la Ciudad de Santa Ana y el Consejo Asesor de Empleadores del Condado de Orange, presentará la 22ª anual Feria de Empleo Juvenil de Verano. Los jóvenes que buscan trabajo entre las edades de 15 a 25 años pueden conectarse con los empleadores en la Feria de Empleo el sábado, 29 de abril de 2017 de las 9:00am a las 12:30pm en el Centro Regional de Transporte de Santa Ana (SARTC).

Se les anima a los solicitantes de empleo a vestirse con traje formal, a traer copias de su currículum vitae y tener la información necesaria para completar las solicitudes de trabajo, incluso una forma de identificación válida con foto y la tarjeta de seguro social.
