Santa Ana street closures and permitted events for April 20 to 26

Here are the locations of upcoming permitted events and road closures in Santa Ana so you can plan accordingly. Please drive slowly and safely in construction zones and around crowded events.

  • Thursday, April 20
    • Lane reductions southbound Bristol Street between Wilshire Avenue and St. Andrew Place due to utility work along the roadway
      • 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day
  • Friday, April 21
    • Mariposa Park Zoo Pop Up
      • Zoo Pop Up – Hours: 2 – 3:30 p.m.
    • Santa Ana Stadium Kids Dash & Bib Pick Up at the Santa Ana Stadium West Parking Lot
      • Event Hours: 5-8 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 22
    • Closure of Flower Street & Civic Center Drive and multiple closures around the Downtown area, including Broadway and Main Street
      • 5K/10K & Fit Fest – Event Hours: 6 a.m. – 1 p.m.
    • Street closure at Boyd Way between Civic Center Drive 6th Street
      • SAPD Open House & Hiring Expo – Event Hours: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
    • Plaza Calle Cuatro
      • Event Hours: 6-10 p.m.
  • Sunday, April 23
    • El Salvador Park
      • Event Hours: 1-4 p.m.
  • Monday, April 24
    • Rolling road closures on Santa Ana Blvd. between Minter and Poinsettia streets to accommodate tree trimming activities for the OC Streetcar
      • Approximately one week: 7 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Tuesday, April 25
    • Closure of Santa Ana Blvd. between French and Minter streets and 6th Street between French and Mortimer streets to accommodate concrete pouring for the OC Streetcar rail
      • Starting at 9 p.m. through Wednesday morning
  • Wednesday, April 26
    • Santiago Creek Nature Center
      • Santa Ana Zoo Pop Up – Hours: 2 – 3:30 p.m.
    • Closure of Santa Ana Blvd. between French and Minter streets and 6th Street between French and Mortimer streets to accommodate concrete pouring for the OC Streetcar rail
      • Starting at 9 p.m. through Thursday morning
  • Ongoing OC Streetcar Construction Closures
    • Closures on Santa Ana Blvd. between French and Santiago streets for OC Streetcar track construction
    • Full closure of Santa Ana Boulevard between French and Minter streets.
    • Full closure of the south side of the street between Minter to Lacy streets. Eastbound and westbound traffic is shifted to the north side of the street.
    • Closure of westbound lanes between Poinsettia and Santiago streets.
    • Partial intersection Poinsettia Street.
    • Closure of 6th Street between French and Mortimer streets.
