Today, May 7, the OC Health Care Agency reported a total of 3,092 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Orange County and 429 cases in Santa Ana. Many of the past Santa Ana cases have been moved to the “Other” Category reflecting victims who happen to be locked up in Orange County jails. There are 217 victims in that “Other” Category.
One new death was reported today. To date 96 O.C. victims have died. A total of 186 victims are currently hospitalized and 69 of them are in Intensive Care Units.
