Santa Ana “Get Spotted at the Zoo” fundraiser set for August 27

The Santa Ana Zoo’s signature gala eventZoofari is back, on Saturday, August 27 from 5:30 pm to 12:00 am.

This year’s theme is “Get Spotted at the Zoo” as we raise funds for a new exhibit featuring the spotted Amazon jungle cats, the Ocelots.

Begin your evening’s adventure by entering to a whole themed world inside the Zoo.

Sip a signature cocktail and nosh on hors d’ ouvres during the cocktail hour as you explore the Zoo, experience animal encounters, and mingle with friends.

Check out the fantastic array of items in the silent auction, and then be seated for a sumptuous and decadent dinner from Parties by Panache.

The live auction boasts several treasures for you choose from to take home with you, and then it’s time for dancing the night away to the music of Pete Jacobs and the Class of ’69.

The hosted bar is available all evening, and the Zoo will be open for you to go exploring.

Sandy Segerstrom Daniels and Ed Arnold will be co-hosting this fabulous event.

This gala event is Black Tie, combined with what we like to call “Safari Chic”. Come monkey around with us for an evening of good people, great food, and lots of fun! This is a great way to support animals and the Zoo, and our important mission of Conservation and Education.

This is a fundraiser for the Friends of the Santa Ana Zoo, a 501(c)3 non-profit. The proceeds from this event will go towards a new Ocelot exhibit. Funds raised this night will also be used for animal enrichments, new animals and exhibits, educational programs and materials, and other Zoo improvements.
