Santa Ana Cinco de Mayo festival parking, music and street information

The annual Santa Ana Downtown Cinco de Mayo Festival will be taking place this weekend from Friday May 4th, through Sunday May 6th.  Santa Ana’s Downtown Calle Cua­tro (4th St.) Cinco de Mayo festival draws over 150,000 peo­ple in atten­dance!  Calle Cua­tro is open to the pub­lic; all ages can attend.

Calle Cua­tro fea­tures food, games, rides, live enter­tain­ment, a beer gar­den and more. Music per­form­ers  include Latin GRAMMY and Bill­board per­form­ing artists rang­ing from regional, pop and rock alter­na­tive music. Click on link to Buy Fair Rides Tick­ets Now!

There will be several street closures in the downtown area which will affect normal commuting routes and times.  Here is a map showing the Cinco de Mayo closures and parking areas:

Street Closures:

  • Main St., between 2nd St. and 5th St.
  • Bush St., between 3rd St. and 5th St.
  • Spurgeon St., between 3rd St. and 4th St.
  • French St., between 5th St. and dead-end
  • Mortimer St., between 4th St. and dead-end
  • 4th St., between Sycamore St. and Minter St.
  • 3rd St., between Sycamore St. and French St
  • 2nd St., between Sycamore St. and Surgeon St.

In addition, lane restrictions and road closures will be in effect in the areas of Bristol Street from 17th Street to Callen’s Common, Main Street from 17th Street to Dyer Road, and Edinger Avenue from Main Street to Raitt Street. Residents, motorist and visitors should expect traffic delays in these areas and make an effort to avoid these areas whenever possible. Residents are encouraged to report any significant or on-going criminal activity occurring that evening to the Santa Ana Police Department at (714) 245-8049.
