Saddleback High School’s new sports complex and CTE Media Lab dedication ceremony set for 9/14

Santa Ana Unified School District is holding a dedication ceremony on Thursdays, Sept. 14, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. to celebrate the new Sports Complex and CTE Media Lab at Saddleback High School.

The new Saddleback High School Sports Complex will include an elite football and soccer stadium that will accommodate 3,000 fans, as well as a support building featuring a team room, concessions and ticketing. In addition to hosting soccer and football games, and track and field events, the complex will serve as an event space for the district to host graduations and other events.

The new Saddleback High School Sports Complex was designed by LPA, a long-time partner of the Santa Ana Unified School District. Over the past 20-plus years, the integrated design firm has completed a host of projects for the district, including George Washington Elementary School, James Madison Elementary School and Lydia Romero-Cruz Academy. LPA also recently started work on the aquatics center for Hector Godinez Fundamental High School.

The SAUSD offers many Career Technical Education courses and offers certifications to students including the Medical Assistant I, Dental Assistant I, Criminal Justice and Automotive Tech. 102.
