Ride Metrolink free to the Swallows’ Day Parade and Mercado on 3/24

Ride Metrolink Free* to the Swallows’ Day Parade and Mercado

Every year, cliff swallows return to San Juan Capistrano after migrating from their winter home in Argentina. Join the city as it celebrates with a parade and street market this Saturday.

Meet us in Orange for a FREE Metrolink ticket and more!

OCTA is kicking off the Swallows’ Day festivities with a celebration at the Orange Station on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 8:30 a.m., before the parade. The event will feature:

  • FREE Metrolink tickets to the first 100 people*
  • Complimentary refreshments, provided by Ruby’s Diner and the Streamliner Lounge
  • Live music, performed by Headshine
  • Prizes and giveaways

Getting to the parade on the train:

Can’t make it to the event in Orange? You can still take Metrolink to San Juan Capistrano for the parade and street fair. Simply purchase a $10 Metrolink Weekend Pass at the train station closest to you. The San Juan Capistrano station is steps away from the parade route.

While you’re there, don’t forget to visit Zoomars and the Mission. You can get a discount at each location when you show your Metrolink ticket!

More information is available at www.octa.net/swallows.

*A total of 100 tickets will be given away on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 8:30 a.m. There is a limit of one ticket per person. You must be present to receive a free ticket.
