Start Your Summer Adventure at the Ocean Festival

The San Clemente Ocean Festival takes place on Saturday, July 20 and Sunday July 21. There’s plenty of adventure at “The Greatest Show on Surf!” Watch top California lifesavers and watermen and women compete in the Open Ocean Paddle. See the Surf Race to Victory for stand up paddlers and the National Doryman’s Association races. Enjoy sand sculpting competitions and the ever-popular Great Rubber Duck Race. It’s a fun-filled event for the whole family and it’s easy to get there on Metrolink! Start your adventure from the moment you board! Leave your car, skip the weekend traffic, and ride!

Ride FREE on Metrolink to the San Clemente Ocean Festival

Join us for a pre-festival kickoff event at the Fullerton Transportation Center.

Event starts at 8:30 a.m.
Train to the San Clemente Pier departs at 9:23 a.m.

Be at the Fullerton Transportation Center by 8:30 a.m. The first 50 people there will receive a free round-trip Metrolink ticket to San Clemente Pier! (First come, first served). Bring a non-perishable food item donation for Second Food Harvest Bank of Orange County and spin the wheel for free giveaways. Then take Metrolink to San Clemente Pier for a fun day at Ocean Festival.

Save with $10 Weekend Day Pass

Metrolink’s Weekend Day Pass gives you unlimited rides for only $10. The pass is valid for system-wide travel on either Saturday or Sunday and is available for purchase at all Metrolink station ticket vending machines with weekend service. The $10 Weekend Day Pass can be purchased by selecting “Weekend Day Pass” on the home screen. Monthly pass holders ride free on weekends system wide.

  • Board Metrolink Train 660, 662, 857, or 859 at the station nearest you. Check the schedule below.
  • Exit Metrolink at the San Clemente Pier Station.
  • Walk from the Station to the Ocean Festival event.

Returning Home

  • Walk back to the San Clemente Pier Metrolink Station
  • Take Metrolink Train 663, 667, 858, or 860 from the San Clemente Station to the station nearest you. Check the Schedule below.
