On Saturday, February 24 around 10:20 PM, SET Deputies had their eyes peeled when they spotted a Chrysler 300 parked on Rockfield, with two individuals sprinting towards it carrying large hampers, according to the OC Sheriff.
Upon hopping into the vehicle, deputies initiated a car stop as theft device alarms continued to sound. A thorough search of the vehicle revealed over $4,000 worth of stolen Ross merchandise, which was recovered and returned to its rightful place.
All three suspects, one from Arizona and two from San Diego County, quickly admitted to their involvement in the theft.
Consequently, they embarked on a road trip to jail and are facing charges including Organized Retail Theft and Conspiracy to Commit Crime.
